Our Key Largo location is at the Key Lime Sailing Club where we also provide a stay and train experience at our resort cottages.
Our school is staffed by people who are passionate about the art and science of sail. Our instructors are USCG licensed Captains, and NauticEd certified instructors. They are lifelong sailors with experience in everything from sailing dinghies to tall ships. They don’t just teach the mechanics of sailing; they imbue in their students an understanding of the physics involved in sailing. They believe the often-quoted maxim: “Tell me, I will forget. Show me, I may remember. Involve me, I will understand”.
Our school director spent over two decades in the United States Coast Guard and served as a boat handling and seamanship instructor at its Cape May Training Center and as a subject matter expert and master instructor at the Coast Guard Maritime Law Enforcement Academy. Our school administrator spent sixteen years in a large metropolitan public-school system. Our whole team is dedicated to making your time with us the best learning experience it can be, providing you with the best value for your sail training dollar.
